After application in the oral cavity, Periokin Gel maintains a bacteriostatic concentration of chlorhexidine for several hours. This is possible due to the adhesion of chlorhexidine, a component of Periokin, to the surface of the teeth. Very good antiseptic efficacy of chlorhexidine compared to other agents. Topical therapy is best. Does not contain alcohol - does not irritate the gums, does not dry, does not cause burning and has a pleasant taste.
