Pyrantel OVIX is an antiparasitic agent intended for children from 2 years of age and adults in the treatment of intestinal infection with pinworms - white roundworms. This drug acts on the muscles of intestinal parasites. Immobilized parasites are removed from the intestine by peristaltic bowel movements. Pyrantel does not irritate the intestines and does not cause the worms to move. It affects sexually mature forms and early stages of parasites, but does not affect larvae during their migration in tissues.
