Cooper, Dakin Cooper stabilized, 125

Dakin Cooper Stabilized is a local antiseptic solution based on chlorine, reserved for external use. Dakin Cooper Stabilized is indicated in the antisepsis of the skin, mucous membranes and wounds.

For 100 ml of solution, 500 mg of concentrated sodium hypochlorite solution, or 0.5 g of active chlorine.
Other ingredients: Potassium permanganate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, purified water.

Dosage of Dakin Cooper Stabilized Antiseptic

Dakin antiseptic solution is  used pure in irrigations, washes (e.g. wound washes), soaked compresses, wet dressings, or local baths (e.g. finger, foot, seat baths). It is possible to renew applications if necessary.

Contraindications of Dakin Cooper Stabilized

In case of allergy to the active substance or to any of the other components and for application in the eye, Dakin solution is contraindicated.
Do not swallow. 

In case of doubt, it is essential to seek the advice of your doctor or pharmacist. 

Do not use other antiseptics at the same time, due to a risk of ineffectiveness of the antiseptics. In case of occlusive dressings, there is a risk of skin irritation and transcutaneous passage.
Please do not keep an opened bottle for too long due to the risk of bacterial contamination.
If you are taking or have recently taken any other medicine, including medicines obtained without a prescription, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

In case of pregnancy and breastfeeding, it is possible to use Dakin cooper stabilized, however ask  your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine.
